I love this time of year. Why, you ask? Well, I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but I’m kinda a big fan of baseball, and my favorite team, the Giants.
The Giants and Rockies, are the two teams in the wild card fighting it out. Before the series this weekend, the rockies were up three games, in the wild card race.
That has all changed. I am proud to announce, that the Giants swept the Rockies, in this three game series. A huge series. And now, the record in the wild card is tied. Giants 75-59 Rockies 75-59
The next team in line, are the Braves. But you know what? They are about six games back. So, this wild card race is getting intense guys.
With only 31 games left to play, the Giants have to step it up. They have great pitching, great speed. Now the only thing they need, is offense. This team would be probably the best team in baseball, if they had offense.
But, they have a guy, who I think is going to be huge for them. You might know him. Not as a person but as a player. Pablo Sandavol. 21 dingers on the year so far. He’s been they’re whole offense.
Not only him, but Bengie Molina.
The other night, I was watching the game, with the Giants, and D-backs. The Giants were down 3 to 1 in the bottom of the eighth. Runners on first, and second. And who comes out to pinch hit? Bengie Molina. Who is slowly recovering from an injury. And he came through for the giants, BIG TIME! A three run home run out to left field. I was kinda scared when he hit it. Mainly because, the left fielder almost robbed him of the home run. But the only thing that matters, is that they won that game.
And then this huge series comes up with the rockies, and Pablo hits two home runs in the series. What got into them? I have no idea. But whatever did, I’m glad it got to em. They’re offense has been razor sharp this series. The three game series, they scored, 17 runs total. Thats pretty big for the giants. And against the rockies too. Thats just great!
Amd hats off to they’re ace, Tim Lincecum. He has been coming up big when it matters. He is leading BASEBALL, in strikeouts again! Second year in a row! The thing I want to accomplish before Tim retires, is to see him play, and maybe meet him. That would be the greatest.
LETS GO GIANTS!!!

This whole time my grandparents and other family have been gone, there have always been one of my sisters here with me at they’re house. AT LEAST! So, last night it was just me and my dad. The one thing I’ve noticed, is that my dad isn’t so pushy when it comes to bed time. Now my mom on the other hand is. I didn’t get to bed till two last night. Which probably wasn’t the best idea in the whole world. Cause I have to wake up every morning at, at least seven. I don’t really have a preoblem with it, cause the dogs are like my alarm clocks. They will wake you up if they want to go outside. This morning I was dead I think. I was laying on the couch attempting to sleep, and one of there many dogs, Rachel, pretty much punched me in the face.
So now I’m awake for all eternity.
I honestly don’t mind if I’m up early or not. I have things to do anyways. It might not be with friends everyday. But on days where I have nothing to do, there will be friends around. Sometimes I can just say, that friends suck. There are friends that I want to kill, and then there are some that I don’t ever mind. I have a lot of good friends, and I have a lot of look like good friends.
Last night I was up playing playstation, and watching tv. And well there was a dog who wouldn’t shut up. So I had to play with her. Probably the most energetic dog I’ve seen. Except for my dog Sam. Sam acts like a crack dog most of the time. And sometimes he is just tired, and not in a good mood whatsoever.
But this dog I was up with last night, is always in a good mood. She loves to play. I think that I have played with her the most while I have been over here. She’s a challenge. But I still win every time.
Another thing that I’ve noticed, is that all the dogs respect me. And I know exactly why! For the first few days while I’ve been here, they would do nothing but bark at me, along with the other sisters of mine. So after I played with them, fed them, and gave them a snack before bed every night, they would want to be around me. So whenever I tell them to come downstairs, or go outside, or just to shut up, they listen right away. Its strange really. I have never had this kind of power before. mwahaha!
And another thing! Why do people need dorrbells, when they have really annoying dogs? I mean, if you have a doorbell, I think thats good enough. After the doorbell is finished, doorbelling, the dogs just bark. Its like they’re saying, ” someones here!”. I KNOW, I KNOW ALREADY!!!
Its really the most useless thing. My dog never barks when someone is at the door. never. He saves his barks for when he goes outside.
And the dogs here might just be the stupidest dogs, I have evr seen. Well a couple of em are. Like Mandy. My grandparents little princess. She was trying to chase her tail. And her body is son long, her head barely makes it past her stomach. I just recorded it on my phone a couple days ago. I was laughing pretty hard. And as for the other dogs, there is only one dog that acts like a normal boring dog. And that would be Jessie. She never wants to play, she is never down stairs when the other dogs are either. But she still listens to me when I tell her to do something though.
I hate cats. Did you know that? Not only am I allergic to them, but I just flat out hate them. I think that cats are the most disgusting, animals on the planet. The only thing cats are good for, is catching mice, and for those who aren’t allergic, just having them around. Even if I wasn’t allergic to them, I don’t even think I would want one.

Last night the Giants played the New York Mets. They won 10-1! Just destroyed them! Picking up the win was a new pitcher pulled up from triple a, Joe Martienez. He only aloud one run as you can see. But only got one strikeout. Not the best strikout pitcher.
But a major strikeout pitcher is the one and only Tim Lincecum. He’s pitching tonight against the reds. Tim Lincecum is having an amazing year! With 205 strikeouts, and a 2.26 ERA. Both of which he is leading MAJORS in. His career high with strikeouts in a single game is 15. HIis ERA last year, was 2.65.
And you have to remember, Tim Lincecum is only 23 years old. If he continues at this rate, he can beat the record of most strikeouts in a career. The records defender is Nolan Ryan. A former texas Ranger. A good friend of mine once told me that he would watch Nolan Ryan do warm ups before a game. Cause he lived in texas once before. And he saw him start out throwing real close with the catcher, then before he knew it they were throwing from one foul pole to the other. Nolan Ryan threw so hard! He said he didn’t aim for the catchers mitt, he aimed 30 feet behind the catchers mitt.
Back with the Giants. The Giants record is 64-54
They are by far doing better than last year. Last year they’re winning percentage wasn’t even 500. This year they are already doing better. Mainly cause of they’re pitching staff. They are said to have the best pitching staff in all of baseball. Which I highly agree with. They have they’re ace, Tim Lincecum, Matt cain, The injured Randy Johnson, the one who threw the no hitter on july tenth, Jonathen Sanchez, and Barry Zito.
As far as the’re bullpen goes, they’re only veteran pitchers are, Bob Howry, and Jeremy Affeldt.
Who are both very good.
The only problem with the giants team is they’re offense. It isn’t a huge problem, its just there offense can use improvement. They have Sandavol, Bengie Molina, and a new addition to the giants lineup, the 2nd base power hitting, Freddy Sanchez. Freddy Sanchez was traded to the giants from the Pirates.
Giants are slowly catching up with the Dodgers. The dodgers have lost 6, of they’re last 8! Which is a good thing for a Giants fan like myself.

I totally forgot about my website! I just cracked my password to get in and started writing. The last time I wrote on this was christmas of 07. Man I have grown so much since then. Its really amazing how much has happened since then. My sister has left for her mission in Florida. Tampa, I got my permit, my other older sister got her license last year, and a whole bunch of other stuff!
I don’t know how she came to it, but Aubree dicided to prepare to head out for a mission. I really look up to her. She is such a good example to all of us Westover kids. She writes often. I’m kinda mad at myself cause, I don’t write her as much as I should. But when I do, its a good five to ten page letter. My sister hasn’t changed a bit. She is still the same old goofy Aubree. She will write all funny, and goofy. Then she will tell me a story about someone that she’s teached. They are all amazing stories. She makes me want to go on a mission. But I just don’t think I’m ready. I have my whole career ahead of me, and I just don’t want to. But thats another convorsation for another day. But one thing is certain. And that is, that my sister wants me to go on a mission. Every letter she sends, she tells me that she wants me to go. She said I will do great, make friends, and have great stories to tell my kids. And of course I don’t go out there for that she says. I go out there for the lord.
Abby is 17. Abby on the other hand has been a great sister to me. A great influence. She knows everything I go through. If I ever need some advice, or if I have problems wth friends, she is always there. I’m glad I got stuck with her. She has very great taste in music. I wouldn’t have learned about muse if it wasn’t for her. Or any other band at that! And she’s an interesting person. In a good way! She has the greatest sense of humor too. She went to school for a couple years. But she wanted to be pulled out cause, and I quote, ” school sucks”.
I keep complaining to my parents on how much I want to go to school. ANd she says, “NO!”. And I ask her, ” I don’t?”. And she just says how much it messed her up and stuff like that.
I’m 15. I’m doing great I think. I just turned 15 and got my permit. Don’t get to drive a bunch. But when I do its the funnest thing ever. I feel totally confortable on the road. I have been told by my parents how good of a driver I am. I have to admit, I am a pretty good driver for a 15 year old. Just one more year and I’ll be dating. I’m kinda big in baseball too. I play baseball, I know just about everything, and I love to play MLB 09 the show on my PS3. I also love movies like, Transformers, and Batman. I love action movies. There is no other good kind of movies. Like the notebook, or some other lame chick flick, can just burn in a raging fire for all I care. And I work at an elementry school down the street from where I live. It sucks.
Allie is 13. Allie, is doing so good. She wants to go on a mission just like Aubree. Good for her I say. She loves Volleyball. A little too much, along with Michael Buble. PSH. I honestly hate Michael. A lot.
She is way good at volleyball too. She plays church volleyball, and plays at some other place for volleyball.
Maggie is 11. Maggie, is just like Aubree, and Abby. She is like Aubree as far as her looks, and her feelings of the church go. And she’s like Abby as far as music goes. She’s only 11, and she knows more about music than I do. She’s very smart. And she is like her mother. Very good with kids, and keeping her area clean.
Madelyn is 9. Madelyn, is mostly like her mother. She worries A LOT! But other than that she is just a little spark plug. Just has so much energy. So we have to keep her away from the mountain dew. And other sugar substances. And she just loves everyone!
And finally Emma. Emma is 7. Emma is like Abby! She loves to be funny. Likes to kick people, and loves to love people. She just loves pets. She is so good with them too. Emma is a little sweetheart. I love her. She’s just so cuddly.
My parents are great. I don’t think I should tell you they’re age. Cause if I do I might get in trouble. And not be able to drive. My mom is great. She loves to share the gospel, and loves to simply love people. I don’t know how she does it. She has seven kids. Three are teenagers, and ones an adult who is out in the mission field. And she has a couple younger daughters, who are still pretty old. Its hard enough dealing with all us teens in the house. I can just tell by the look on her face. A lot of people might not know this, but my mom has a great sense of humor. She’s so fun to be around. And I have a lot of fun teasin her. She’s cool too. She is just like a teenager, just with more authority. And my dad is great! He loves to have fun. He’s just like a little kid. Loves to play with us kids. I love spending time with my dad. Not only cause we’re the only men in the house, but because he’s my dad. There is a special bond with a son and father. And I’m just lucky to be the only son, and have him all to myself. I can talk to him about baseball. And he’ll know what I’m talking about. Most of the other people I know, don’t know if I’m talkin about the player, or the name of the field they play in. If it weren’t for my dad, I wouldn’t be in baseball. I learned everything I know about baseball from him. And I’m still learning. He’s always there for me when I need him. Even though he leaves out of town often, I can just call or text him. He is and always will be my best friend.
